We have problems with really long waits for payment, but worse than that we had real trouble - as in we gave up due to collection costs - collecting charges for damages, lost gear and late returns.
We include both outbound and return shipping on almost all out inventory - exceptions are noted. In order to do this we have to have sufficient notice to make it happen. If the notice is short we will need to charge expedited shipping fees and maybe a Rush Preparation Fee.

If you book and pay with less than a 7 day window before we need to ship to meet your desired delivery date then a $200 Rush Preparation Fee will apply, plus any extra shipping charges that may apply.
Our base rental charge will provide you with 7 days use of our gear.
The security deposit usually is between $500 and $2,000 depending on the value of the equipment rented. We use this to ensure we get reimbursed for damages, missing items and late returns.
Simple really - you break it or lose it. You pay for it. That being said, if you tell us about the missing parts or damages, and we will charge you two-thirds the replacement cost - not the full price. If we find the loss or damage - it is full price. We usually send a list of the replacement costs for most of the parts for your rental. Or you can download it below.
We measure late in terms of when it was accepted by the carrier - get a receipt. If the carrier takes longer then normal to get it back to us, the is not on you.
If you know you are going to be late, call us, so we can determine how best to handle things - we may need to upgrade return shipping at your cost, charge the extra days or forgive the late charges.
If you do not let us know before hand - before or on the first business day after the end of the rental period - we reserve the right to charge double our normal daily fee - currently 2x 8% = 16% of first week fee. Again if there are truly extenuating circumstances - car accident on the way to the carrier etc, and you let us know before shipping then we will be inclined to forgive the late fees - we may need to charge for upgrading the return shipping or the outbound shipping to the next client.
We understand that most of our mics are used on or around the face and will get makeup and/or tape residue on them, but if you dirty up a mic please return it to it's original state - which should be free of these contaminants.

Please launder any Transmitter Waist Belts before shipping them back to us.
Place them in a pillow case and wash on a normal cycle with the usual amount of Laundry Detergent. Once washed place the pillowcase with the belts into the dryer and set to about 30 minutes on average - check they are dry - if not add more time.
Rental Fee and Refundable Security Deposit must be PAID in advance.
